The present research attempts to address the eco-social crisis from a close look at the synergies established by contemporary art between science, technology and nature. This research proposes the recent fire at Notre Dame Cathedral (Paris, 15 April 2019) as an event that confronts old cultural foundations that are incompatible with urgent contemporary ecological approaches. In this way, it proposes a speculative route that explores and connects different cultural links and latencies between this fire, its relationship with the western notion of Nature and the artefacts and devices proposed by artistic practices today. Thus, a plastic production is formulated that investigates the strategies and methodologies learned in order to propose an art situated in the climate crisis.
